Aim

Our cohort study aimed to identify the common characteristics of road traffic collisions, involved people, their post-injury health and life profiles with multiple follow-ups. The hypothesis is that the demographic, injury-related, crash-related, and potential predictors independently affect crash consequences as well as the driving performance and safety-related behaviours at short term, midterm and long term after crash.

 Objectives

The main research objectives are formulated as following:
  • To determine the occurrence and status of PTSD, quality of life, disability and depression at short term, midterm and long term run after road traffic crash.
  • To determine the demographic, injury-related, and crash-related predictors of PTSD, quality of life, disability and depression at short term, midterm and long term run after road traffic crash.
  • To determine the virtual driving performance and safety-related behaviours of RTI injury victims at short term, midterm and long term run after road traffic crash.
